Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.
Working 35 weeks per year, this post has variable hours and may be in multiple locations in the city

The salary advertised is inclusive of a supplement to ensure you are paid a minimum of the Scottish Local Government Living Wage which is £9.07 per hour.
A minimum of a UKCC Gymnastics Level 1 or Trampolining level 1 Qualification is essential to deliver within the programme.
As part of a dynamic Leisure and Sport section, you will assist in the delivery of the sports programme for Leisure & Culture Dundee, coaching to a variety of individuals and groups, whilst adhering, where relevant, to Scottish Governing Body (SGB) guidelines and specified coach to participant ratios.
You will have a general interest in gymnastics and trampolining and have experience of working with primary school aged children. You must be able to work effectively with a variety of professional partners, parents and children and possess excellent communication skills.
Experience in assisting practical paid / voluntary sports coaching is essential along with, experience of working with children from a variety of backgrounds in a physical activity setting.
You must have excellent organisational and planning skills. You must also have the ability to work in a team, work independently and be strongly self-motivated.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively with children and young people with excellent interpersonal skills.
You must also be flexible and adaptable
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Leisure and Culture Dundee.
