Glasgow Housing Association (GHA), part of Wheatley Group, has a rare opportunity for a housing professional with outstanding leadership skills to join the team as it embarks on an exciting new stage of its journey.

As one of the UK’s biggest and most innovative social landlords, we have a strong track record in delivering exceptional services and support to our customers and have ambitious new-build and investment programmes across Glasgow.

We’re Scotland’s biggest Registered Social Landlord with almost 43,000 affordable homes and part of the Wheatley Group, Scotland’s leading housing, care and property-management group. As a leader responsible for your own locality, you will deliver first-class housing, asset management, customer engagement, repairs and maintenance and environmental services.

You will lead your team with confidence to deliver outstanding performance with an emphasis on sector-leading innovation and customer focus. Working closely with your peers to deliver our ambitious strategy and technology advances, you will help deliver a new experience for our customers.

You must be able to demonstrate an ability to inspire and motivate staff to deliver first-class services in our communities. That includes colleagues working in housing, asset management, repairs and maintenance, and environmental services. You will support your teams to develop their confidence and skills so they can find the right solutions and services to help each individual customer.

You’ll also be a strategic and analytic thinker, be used to working in a pressurised and regulatory environment and be adept at writing reports and customer-facing communications. Experience of influencing decision-makers at all levels is desirable.
