Hillcrest Homes is recruiting for a Business Systems Developer.


About the Department

The IT Department is a corporate service within the Hillcrest Group providing a range of IT services to the organisation. This role sits in the Business Systems team which delivers change initiatives whilst providing ongoing maintenance and support to existing systems.


About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Business Systems Developer within the IT department. Working as part of the wider development team, they will play a key role in the implementation of our new Digital, Data and Technology Strategy. This position will be pivotal in supporting the business as we review our core IT systems. The ideal candidate will be involved in exploring new technologies and solutions to meet the requirements of all departments and companies across the group.


About You

You will:

  • Lead the delivery and deployment of business systems projects
  • Have experience of developing solutions utilising a number of information management systems to deliver business objectives
  • Have experience of working with SQL and its associated technologies
  • Have excellent communications skills and be able to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-IT staff
  • Be highly motivated and flexible with the ability to work under pressure
