An exciting opportunity has arisen based within East Lothian Council for an Assets Project Manager to deliver Corporate Asset and New Ways of Working projects to deadline and budget; to support delivery of the Council Plan and budget commitments.
The Project Manager will be responsible for working with staff and management across the Council to undertake feasibility studies to determine benefits, risks and costs, and deliver projects, reporting to a Project Board and the Council Management Team.
The successful candidate must have experience of delivering corporate asset and new ways of working projects in complex organisations including options appraisal, stakeholder engagement and benefits realisation.
The successful candidate would be joining the Council’s Transformation Programme team and working closely with a wide range of Council services.
The IS also invites applications from candidates who wish to be considered for the post on a secondment basis.

Location: East Lothian Council, Penston House, Macmerry Industrial Estate, Macmerry, Tranent EH33 1EX however the post will require travel to other sites across East Lothian.
Duration: 2 years fixed term with possibility of extension
36 hours per week.
