The ability to work on own initiative, priorities and have confidence in communicating across all levels, as well as flexible working attitude is essential. Previous experience in a similar environment and of Sage 200 would be desirable.

JOB PURPOSE:

To assist the Finance Manager in providing an effective, efficient and comprehensive finance support function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Duties

Key Tasks

· Processing orders and invoices for authorisation for head office

· Collating, checking and reviewing purchases invoices received from centres, to ensure they adhere to the company’s financial regulations and procedures

· Inputting all purchase ledger invoices into sage 200

· Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, including following up any outstanding items with suppliers and centres as appropriate

· Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger

· Handling queries from suppliers and centres

· Scanning and filing purchase ledger invoices

· Monitor and Maintain purchase order systems

· Monitor and Maintain accounts e-mail

· Assisting where required with preparation of supplier payment run

· Issuing remittance advices

· Quarterly audit of systems to ensure scanning is complete, supplier account details are up to date, etc.

Other Tasks

· Preparation and reconciliation of Head Office banking

· Input of Company Income Returns

· Monitor and analyse Company Mobile Phone use

· Assist with reviews on Supplier spend for procurement procedures and/or centre or managers requests. Any other duties as may be required
