An exciting opportunity has arisen at Quarriers for a Head of IT to lead the IT Team and contribute to the success of the current organisational transformation programme and the implementation of our IT Strategy.

Reporting to the Director of HR, this is a key Senior Leadership role with responsibilities of delivering technology solutions that support both the organisational and IT Strategies.

You will lead the Infrastructure, Digital Services and Service Desk teams, within the IT department, delivering ‘business as usual’ technical support to Quarriers front line staff throughout Scotland, supporting legacy on premise systems and driving the rollout and adoption of emerging Cloud based technologies where appropriate.

You will be responsible for technical innovation, project implementation, and the development of IT strategy and policies. Additionally you will be responsible for the Quarriers IT budget; governance; compliance; reporting & meeting KPIs/SLAs.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining a number of key activities including: Supplier/Contract Management, Incident & Problem Management, Change Control, Continual Improvement and Risk Management.

As Head of IT, you will motivate and lead your teams to strive for continual improvement on the provision of cost effective and reliable technologies.
