Are you a talented and creative communications professional?
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and creative communications
professional to join our busy Communications Department. Our department leads
communication and engagement across the organisation setting and delivering our
internal and external communications priorities.
You will:
- develop creative communication campaigns to
reach internal and external audiences
- create campaigns, craft stories and multimedia
content for our digital channels
- work with our agencies and in-house
designer to commission and deliver print and digital communications including
video and animations
- evaluate and report on the impact and effectiveness
of our activities
- organise and attend internal and external events,
workshops and conferences
- research, edit and write content for
internal and external audiences including online magazines, email
marketing, blogs and podcasts
- write press releases and handle media
enquiries
- be a motivated and enthusiastic person
- have a strong customer focus and demonstrate commitment to our organisational values.
You must have:
- a degree or equivalent, preferably in a relevant
subject
- strong experience in a communications, public
relations or marketing role
- experience in either internal or external
communications or both
- basic experience using website content management systems
- strong communication, written, verbal, and facilitation skills to build and sustain working relationships both internally and externally and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
- efficient planning and organisational
skills to manage a dynamic workload and able to meet tight deadlines
- great people skills, able to build strong, effective working relationships.
Although not essential, experience of photo, video and audio editing and
production would be an advantage as would experience using SharePoint
and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
