All children deserve to live their best lives.

Are you a great storyteller with graphics and video? Are you passionate about using digital skills to make a difference for children and young people? Sistema Scotland has a fantastic opportunity for you to take the next step in your communications career and work with a small, dedicated team to improve lives and strengthen the amazing communities we work alongside.

Sistema Scotland believes all children and young people in Scotland have great potential, skills and talents. However, too many children face huge barriers to being able to recognise and develop their potential, inequalities such as poverty and discrimination that limit their opportunities to learn, grow and become confident, healthy adults. Sistema Scotland uses music and nurturing relationships to tackle some of these inequalities, through our community-focused Big Noise programmes in Raploch and Fallin (Stirling), Govanhill (Glasgow) Torry (Aberdeen) and Douglas (Dundee). We will be opening our fifth centre in Wester Hailes in Edinburgh early next year.

You will be a key member of our Communications & Marketing team, sharing the positive impacts of Big Noise for children and young people living in identified communities across Scotland, using a wide range of media and channels. You will support excellent communications within the organisation, with the communities we serve, and with partners, stakeholders and funders by delivering a variety of content & design across multiple digital, print and social media platforms. You will also provide support and guidance to staff in digital activities and use of technology.

You will have experience of working in a communications or marketing role which has included project management or responsibility for key project delivery, along with experience of managing, or having a lead role in delivering, digital projects within an organisation. Experience of using graphic design packages, along with strategically planning, designing, editing and managing communications and content across a number of digital and social media platforms is also essential. You will be able to plan you own work remit and will have confidence in providing support and guidance in digital activities and use of technology.

This is a permanent, full time post, working five days a week. The role forms part of the central team, based in Raploch, Stirling, with flexibility for home working (staff are currently working from home due to Scottish Government guidance).
