Salary: £26,500 pro rata 25 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term until 31^st March 2020. The post is currently funded until the end of

March 2020 but extension is possible, subject to funding

Location: North Lanarkshire (Office base – Airdrie)

Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to promote the involvement and facilitate engagement with older people in North Lanarkshire.

Your role will be to develop effective and meaningful involvement with older people in North Lanarkshire. You will achieve this by using existing networks and developing new initiatives to involve and engage older people. The successful candidate will require to be flexible in respect of their working pattern and be prepared to work occasional evenings and weekends as the post demands.

You will have a proven track record of working with, and for, communities and considerable experience of working at an inter-agency level.

An Enhanced PVG Disclosure is required for this position.
