About the role
The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate a team providing Money/Debt/Benefits advice up to Type 3 under the Scottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Educated to standard grade or equivalent.
The postholder is able to demonstrate:
Ability to take a day-to-day lead role with respect to service delivery
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including communicating confidently by the telephone and in person
Well-developed investigation and negotiation skills
Well-developed listening, interpersonal and decision-making skills
Ability to deal with complex situations and modify behaviour in response to a situation
Ability to work with those with the most challenging needs
Ability to manage constant and often conflicting demands and deadlines
Ability to use a range of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Office and e-mails
Ability to develop and maintain policies and procedures
Ability to analyse information and produce written reports
