This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working for the Council’s Regulatory Services team in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland. Working from the coastal town of Dunoon you will undertake a range of work within environmental health enforcement, including public health and food safety. There will be a requirement to manage your own district workload, whilst ensuring that environmental health standards are met and to protect public health. We will provide you with varied workload in all areas of environmental health, flexi and hybrid working and an opportunity to be part of a great team. Consideration will be given to applications from newly qualified Environmental Health Officer, these aiming to sit their professional interview in 2023.
This is a full time, permanent post within Dunoon. Working 35 hours across Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a one hour lunch break.
