Clackmannanshire Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Children & Families Social Worker to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people.

The service firmly believes in the power of strength based relational Social Work and its members will hold the ability to address behaviours linked to, or because of, adult and childhood trauma and compromised child/parental relationships and capacity.

Newly Qualified Social workers  (NQSW)
We have developed an innovative and exciting induction programme for Newly Qualified Social Workers and provide weekly NQSW support groups that offer an opportunity to gain confidence and competence across the teams.  .We would welcome student’s applying for these posts who are due to finish their studies, this can be discussed during the interview process.


Essential
Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS.

Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly related to child protection and looked after children.
