We have a range of exciting opportunities to join our vibrant Sport Development coaching team delivering sports opportunities across the city. We are currently seeking to recruit assistant Sports Coaches (Casual) to deliver a recreational Gymnastics/Trampoline programme based within the Dick McTaggart Regional Gymnastics Centre and the Menzieshill Community hub and Douglas Sports Centres.

The rate of pay is £10.34 per hour.Requirements
You will have a UKCC Level 1 Scottish Gymnastics, Trampoline, (depending on which sport you are applying for) or willing to work towards, plus relevant delivery experienceResponsibilities
As part of a dynamic Leisure and Sport section, you will assist in the delivery of the Gymnastics and Trampoline, programmes for Leisure & Culture Dundee, coaching to a variety of individuals and groups, whilst adhering, where relevant, to Scottish Governing Body (SGB) guidelines and specified coach to participant ratios.The Individual
You will have a general interest in Gymnastics, Trampoline and have experience in practical paid/voluntary sports coaching and working with children/adults from a variety of backgrounds in a physical activity setting.
You must have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to work in a team and work independently.
You must be strongly self-motivated with excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and young people.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and you must be flexible and adaptable.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekend work where required, as well as undertaking personal development. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to work being offered by Leisure & Culture Dundee.
