Job Description

Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com Working full time (37 hours per week) with the Aquatic Team within the Active Aquatics Section of Leisure & Sport, based at Olympia, you are required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service. The Aquatics Team provide, manage and support the Aquatic Activities including the Learn to Swim programmes for Leisure and Culture Dundee. The Clerical Assistant (Aquatic Activities) will assist in the provision of an efficient booking system within the Aquatic Service, ensuring that the appropriate information is available to the Aquatics Team.

Requirements

3 National 4 or equivalent qualifications that must include English and Maths.

Responsibilities

Assist in the provision of an efficient bookings system within the Aquatic Service ensuring that the appropriate information is available to the Aquatics Team.

The Individual

You must have relevant work experience such as dealing with members of the public and general office experience. A good numeracy skill base required along with good communication skills to include both written and verbal. Working with our bookings system and to support the information required by the Aquatics Team, IT skills and experience working with Word, Excel and database packages are required. Working as part of a team to ensure the best possible service for our customer is a high priority and you will need to use initiative on occasion. This post will require a degree of flexibility in readiness to respond to demands of the service. There must be a willingness to undertake training opportunities for the purpose of both personal and service development. You must be able to work weekends where required by service demands.
