We are looking to recruit an Organisation Development (OD) Advisor who will be a key member of the HR/OD team, providing OD advice, guidance and support to teams and departments across Midlothian Council.
Working as part of the HR/OD team, your role will be responsible for advising and supporting Council colleagues on OD matters, driving the development and implementation of OD across Council teams to support the achievement of our ambitious strategic plans. You will contribute to the management and delivery of OD operations, procedures and processes and provide specialist OD support that contributes to a consistent and high quality service provision.
This is a new role so duties will vary, you should be flexible in your approach, and you must have a positive and can-do attitude.
You will have previous experience of providing OD advice and guidance, and delivering impactful work in a fast-paced environment with enhanced customer service and communication skills, and strong IT skills, including Powerpoint. Project management skills and coaching skills would be an advantage.
You will be joining a focused and passionate team where you’ll put people at the heart of everything you do. You will be degree qualified with experience working successfully in OD roles in the public or private sectors, have a minimum of associate membership of the CIPD and a commitment to continued professional development.
