An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Assistant working within Business Services to provide a comprehensive, professional and high level of business support.
We are looking for a focused individual who has experience in an administrative role.
You should have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills as this is a busy and demanding role with often conflicting priorities.
This post is based at 2 High Street though the Council are currently operating a hybrid working system with a minimum of 2 days based in the office combined with working from home and on MS Teams. Note that there may be a requirement to be based at an alternative location within Perth City.
This post is to cover an existing members of staff's secondment and fixed term until 15 September 2025.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate should have:
• Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of
packages.
• The ability to manage diaries and calendars, and book rooms/venues for training
events.
• The ability to maintain Financial Records and Inventories.
• The experience of minuting team meetings and preparing an action log (though training can be given).
• Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with internal and external customers.
• The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
• The ability to work accurately under pressure and within tight timescales.
• The ability to forward plan and manage your own workload.
• Experience of working within a busy team and able to demonstrate good working
relationships.
