This is an exciting time to be joining Renfrewshire Council. We are looking to recruit a Senior Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Transportation teams. You will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of Council priorities including delivery of multi million pound capital investment programmes, the expansion of our active travel network, delivering a new Local Transport Strategy for Renfrewshire as well as leading a highly visible frontline roads operations service. We are looking for someone, who is enthusiastic with the skills and experience to deliver our ambitious agenda to provide maximum economic and environmental benefit for Renfrewshire. You will have a passion for providing high quality services to the public and driving service improvements and organisational change. Based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley, you will lead a number of challenging work areas and make improvements to the Renfrewshire’s road network and associated infrastructure. It is essential you have a Degree and/or hold a relevant professional qualification. A Driving Licence is also required for this role. You will have had significant experience in delivering change in a similar environment, you will be highly motivated and have effective organisational, time management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and project management skills and be able to develop and sustain relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
