Stirling Council are looking to recruit an experienced mental health officer to a busy and supportive mental health team in Stirling City Centre.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals who are looking for an opportunity to join our busy, integrated, Community Mental Health Team and make a positive difference to the lives of the people in our area accessing services.
This post covers both urban and rural Stirling areas. The post holder will undertake statutory MHO duties under the Mental Health, Adults with Incapacity and Criminal Justice Acts and should have excellent communication skills, a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and strong person centred assessment and practice skills alongside an understanding of social welfare and social justice issues.

The essential criteria for this post is a degree in Social work, registration with the SSSC and a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Officer Studies.
