This post presents a rare opportunity to provide inspirational leadership and effective management of all College IT services to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service to meet the needs of all our students, staff and wider partners.
As Head of IT, you will take a lead role in the strategic development and management of all IT infrastructure across multiple campuses in one of Scotland’s largest regional colleges. You will provide effective leadership and work in collaboration to drive process improvement and develop aspiring strategies for our digital ambition and IT infrastructure.
You should hold a SCQF Level 9 (eg Degree) qualification in a relevant subject, or hold a SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant subject and be willing to work towards an appropriate SCQF Level 9/degree level qualification and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to your continuous professional development. You must have successful leadership experience at a senior level including the effective management and development of diverse multi-disciplinary teams, IT infrastructure and experience leading and delivering large scale technical and innovative projects. With a successful track record in managing IT business continuity, risk management and cyber security, you will be highly self-motivated and an inspirational role model to others.
