Job Description

Based in one of the following towns in Angus:

Forfar:

We are looking to recruit a passionate individual to work with us as a Team Leader in our short breaks service for children with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a person centred and empowering environment and will be able to lead a team to provide care based on these principles.

or

Brechin:

We are opening a new residential childcare house in Brechin and are recruiting a Team Leader for this service.

The house will provide care for up to 4 young people between the ages of 12 and 21 years who cannot live at home.

The service will focus on providing homely, relationship based and nurturing care and strive to be trauma responsive.

The team leader would be responsible for the day to day leadership and supervision of the team and would act as the service’s registered manager.

This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role which offers the right candidate the opportunity to make a real different to the lives of some of our most vulnerable young people and the chance to be part of shaping Angus Council’s residential child care service.

These jobs are workstyle 2b - Flexi.

In this workstyle work is regularly undertaken at a fixed point within council premises. There is no requirement for out of office working. You will have a guaranteed shared desk and you will work where the service is needed to meet customer demands.
