Temporary absence cover for up to 6 months.

As part of the Finance Team you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions in relation to Sales, Purchasing and Banking are correctly processed and maintained within the finance system for Fife College.

You will be required to provide financial information and support to students, customers and members of Fife College staff, therefore must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures. A good level of competence in Excel, Word and computerised accounting software is also essential.

You must be qualified to HNC level of equivalent (SCQF Level 7), in Accounting, Business or other relevant subject. In addition, you must have proven relevant experience of working within a finance department running central finance processes covering Sales, Purchasing, banking and credit control.

Excellent communication and listening skills are essential along with good organisational skills, problem solving and analytical ability. You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic and be able to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
