Mount Vernon Community Hall SCIO

Mount Vernon Community Hall is managed by a group of local volunteers on behalf of the Community. Opened in October 1971 it comprises a large circular hall that holds up to 150 people, a stage area and small lounge and kitchen. The hall is available to hire for activities /events, celebrations, workshops, training courses, parties. Our volunteers also run events and sessions such as youth club, cycling, and art classes through out the year for the community to enjoy. Volunteers have also created 2 community garden spaces and a community woodland area for the community to use.
