Job Description
Stirling Council Advice Services is an accredited provider of welfare benefits, money and debt advice under the Scottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers. The service is also one of the key providers of digital inclusion advice and support in the Stirling area.
Stirling Council Digital Inclusion project offers free and tailored help to complete beginners or those looking to improve their digital skills. The team aim to improve the confidence of Stirling Citizens using a wide variety of services online.
We are currently recruiting for 2 full-time Digital Inclusion Workers to work within our Digital Inclusion Project as part of the Thrive to Maximise and Multiply Stirling Projects.
• Thrive to Maximise is a programme specifically targeted at parents across the Stirling Council area. The programme sets out to reduce in-work poverty as well as family and child poverty and aims to help families gain an improved financial situation.
• Multiply Stirling is a new community based numeracy programme funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund aiming to build the numeracy capacity of people across targeted areas and within targeted groups across Stirling.
The successful applicants will work in partnership with the wider Advice Services Team; as well as the Learning and Employability Team.
Both posts are currently funded until 31st March 2025 and will report to the Senior Digital Inclusion Worker.Requirements
