Position: Mental Health Support Worker Forth Valley Area

Key Responsibilities: Provide personalised, empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them to build resilience and develop coping strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience of providing direct support to individuals
• Qualified to SVQ 3 level in social care or equivalent but suitable candidate may be offered training and support to achieve the required qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Empathy, patience, and resilience to work with individuals facing various mental health challenges.
• Adaptable and able to work independently as well a part of a close-knit team
• As you will be working across the Forth Valley areas it would be an advantage if you hold a current driving licence and able to use your own car

This post offers an hourly rate of £10.90 with mileage costs renumeration, plus a 5% company pension contribution after an initial 6 months probationary period. Hours available are negotiable, minimum 18 hours to 35 hours per week.
