A fantastic opportunity has become available within the fundraising team of Alzheimer Scotland. We have three exciting vacancies which have the sole focus to support and deliver the charity’s Stakeholder Engagement strategy and to ensure all income generation activities sustain our mission to ensure nobody faces dementia alone.

The Stakeholder Engagement Leader role will work closely with the Leads for Stakeholder Engagement and will have specific responsibilities to lead and deliver on key projects areas. Key areas include increasing retention rates with current supporters (such as, but not exclusive to; members, corporates, event participants, volunteers and regular donors), diversifying our calendar of engagement opportunities, and proactively securing new ways to attract new demographics to our cause.

Whilst the role will support all income streams associated with the team; community fundraising, challenge events, digital fundraising etc. we are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has prior experience in delivering successful corporate account management, developing and delivering a network of high value/profile individuals, along with anyone who has prior experience in delivering successful national fundraising campaigns, to bolster these areas of interest for the charity.

At Alzheimer Scotland, we believe no monetary ask should be made, until a meaningful supportive relationship is established, and so your fundraising experience will be stretched to new limits to ensure all fundraising engagement activity leads with a story, along with an emotive and meaningful exchange. You will be tasked to think out with the conveniently way of transactional fundraising, and more towards a supporter lead relationship partnership, whilst supporting the overall team to embed this approach throughout the organisation, particularly amongst our locality colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is naturally optimistic, with a can-do attitude. Applicants are required to demonstrate results, whilst thriving within a fast-paced and varied environment. You will be well versed in working independently, a self-starter, who enjoys creative thinking and building meaningful relationships. Successful applicants will have a positive approach to dementia, along with excellent communication skills and a caring attitude. A willingness to learn and participate in training, will also be expected.
