Our Peebles Service is growing!

This new service is for a supported person moving into their first home. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and promote independence and life skills to our supported person. Join our team and help us continue to deliver a high standard of care which allows people to live their lives to the fullest potential. This includes days out to Edinburgh, Galashiels or wherever the supported person wishes to go Bowling, cinema trips, safari park meals out, swimming, shopping.

Please note that these roles all include sleepover shifts *.

*A sleepover shift consists of working an afternoon/evening shift, a rest period sleeping over in the service and then working a short shift in the morning. The sleepover period is over and above your contracted hours and gets paid as an additional payment of £96.00 per sleepover.

Your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
