Our Retirement Housing Services in Oban and Dunbeg are currently looking for a Casual Worker to support cover requirements for planned and emergency leave in our Retirement Housing Assistant and Retirement Housing Manager posts. This would be a great opportunity for someone who would like to have more flexibility around their working arrangements and or gain experience in social care.

Written, numerical and verbal skills, as well the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, relatives, colleagues and other professionals are considered essential requirements for this position.

Experience of working in housing, social care or health services or to have demonstrable personal or volunteer experience is essential, through which a thorough understanding of the needs of older people and services provided to older people has been gained. Additional cleaning tasks such as cleaning vacant flats and or external pathways of the development may be undertaken.
