Hours of Work

20 hours per week

Weekend Role

• 12-hour shifts
• Saturday and Sunday only

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support, including:

• Assisting with household tasks and daily living activities
• Supporting individuals with personal care, including intimate personal care where required
• Prompting and administering medication in line with procedures
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Building positive relationships and providing emotional support

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Can work independently and confidently on a lone-working basis
• Have strong time management and organisational skills
• Hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or are willing to work towards this qualification
• Are willing to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within six months of starting employment

Experience
