Registered Manager

Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) are one of the largest care and support providers in the Scottish Borders.

We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager (Care Home) who will be responsible for leading and managing services to ensure better outcomes for the people supported by the organisation, ensuring that care and support is person centred, safe, effective, and compassionate.

You will be responsible for the overall leadership & management of all staff within the services and ensure smooth operations of the service on a day-to-day basis, promoting a culture that aligns with person centredness. And you will ensure that service provision is underpinned by the Health and Social Care Standards, Health & Safety legislation and follows Adult Social Care legislation and best practice. Ensure that all codes of conduct (e.g. SSSC, NMC) are implemented and monitored.

To be considered for the role of Registered Manager you will have at least 2 years’ experience working in health, care, or support organisations at senior management level with considerable operational experience. You will have sound knowledge of governance matters with SSSC, Care Inspectorate and Disclosure Scotland and will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance with the ability to show flexibility in approach.

As Registered Manager you will work 37.5 hours per week, with a remuneration package of between £37,000 to £39,000 per annum.

To be eligible for this role you are required to have acceptable membership of the PVG scheme, become registered with an appropriate regulatory body within 3 months of the start of your employment and be qualified to at least SVQ Level 4 or HNC Social Care.
