The Vacancy

Hi, My Name is Allan and I currently live in Uddingston in North Lanarkshire and I’m recruiting new Personal Development Workers (Support Worker type role) to support me at home and out and about.

I am part of a Tae Kwon Do club and I love taking part in competitions. I’m very proud of my trophy cabinet and medals and I like to show them off when people visit me at home.

I’m also a keen Glasgow Rangers fan and I like to get along to Ibrox stadium when I can to watch the home games, maybe that’s something we could enjoy doing together? I’m known as a bit of a Del boy and love to buy/sell and haggle. I'm yet to make my first million but I live in hope.. One day Rodney we will be..

Day to day, I'm a busy man and I like to have my day planned ahead from the moment I wake up so often no two days are the same. That means being reliable and punctual are important traits I need in team members as I am excited for each new day. I might be fishing one day and the next day thinking of selling my fishing tackle to fund my next hobby. I’m very sociable and like to speak to people in my neighbourhood and get involved in my local community.

I generally like to spend my evenings catching up on some tv or calling family members who live down south for a chat as that makes me feel good. .

The qualities needed to be part of my team, are to be chatty, able to think on your feet, and thick skinned as I like a good joke and I’m happy to give as good as I get! Importantly, you must be patient and respect my choices.

My usual hours of support are from 10.30am to 7pm, 7 days per week. I’m recruiting two new team members to work with me 2 days each per week.
