Personal Assistant

I’m Doreen, an 84-year-old lady looking for a reliable team of personal assistants in Dumfries to cover 3 visits a day. In the morning, I need someone to support me with making sure I have washed and changed into clean clothes. I also need support with showering three times a week. At 5pm, I need someone to give me my dinner, and at bedtime, I need support to make sure I can get into bed safely. The shifts will be arranged on a rota, and I am willing to be flexible with the timings.

I have mixed dementia and use a walking frame so looking for someone who is patient and can help me stick to my routine. I love looking though old photos of my family and enjoy playing solitaire on my iPad.

Hours will be varied and will be confirmed at interview stage. If you can cover any shifts, please apply and shifts can be worked out at interview. The rate of pay would be £13.45 per hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. A suitable PVG is required.
