Study Skills Specialist (SpLD/Dyslexia) - Edinburgh College

You will be working with students to provide strategies to develop the study skills required when studying in higher and further education. This can include developing skills in time management, essay planning, improving spelling and grammar, as well as strategies to develop students’ memory, organisation and referencing skills.

Pay: £30 per hour plus £3.62 holiday pay per hour.

Applicants must be available to work in person at one or more of the following Edinburgh College campuses: Sighthill, Granton, Milton Road, Midlothian.

It is desirable if applicants can also work at one or more of the following Edinburgh Napier campuses: Sighthill, Merchiston, Craiglockhart.

Work is available from August 2024.

Applicants must have:

A degree

AND one of the following:

• A teaching qualification
• A relevant PG qualification
• Professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities

It is desirable that applicants have experience in a similar role within the last five years.

A PVG check organised by Clear Links is required as part of the onboarding process.
