We're looking for a caring and experienced individual with a can do attitude to join our team on a full time, permanent basis in Glasgow as a Lead Practitioner (Team Leader).

The Role


The role of Lead Practitioner is pivotal in empowering the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, including line management of a staff team and direct support as part of your rota. 


As a Lead Practitioner, you'll demonstrate great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and alongside our Service Lead, will lead and inspire your teams of Support Practitioners.


You'll be fully supported as you begin your career into management where you will learn how best to coach and mentor your teams to ensure professionalism, accountability and engagement resulting in the delivering of first class, high quality care.

You’ll have a track record of delivering high quality, person-centred support, share our values and be used to working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.


​​​​​​​Our colleagues across Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire work closely together so we would need you to be flexible and able to support other teams if needed. Travel will be required between services; we pay a generous mileage rate at 45p per mile.

Shift Patterns

The contracted hours will typically be worked between Monday to Friday, 9am - 5 pm; however, shift patterns are flexible and can be tailored to you. You will take part in formal on-call duties and may be required to pick up additional support shifts out with your hours in an emergency.
