The Role


With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You’ll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in their hobbies which may include karaoke, arts and crafts, live music, going for walks and to the shops along with many more activities. We'll be looking to you to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion for the people we support.


About you


You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund you SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC registration fee.

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • ​​​​​Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • An understanding of the importance of following guidelines
  • Confidence in the use of computers.


Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support across our Community and Housing Support services. Some of our roles include sleepovers and waking nights.


Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £87 for an 8 hour sleepover or £98 for a 9 hour sleepover​​​​​​​.
