Are you looking for a rewarding new job where you can make a difference every day?  Look no further! Our fantastic #TeamCS in Peterhead are looking for new colleagues to join them on a part-time (10 hours per week) basis.

The Role

As a Support Worker, we'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction. No two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in YOUR local community.

In just one day you'll be going home knowing that you’ve made a huge difference to the lives of up to three individuals, what can be more rewarding than that? Your support will enable these individuals to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home, but you’ll also help them to play an active part of their community too.

For these opportunities, we are ideally looking for people with a full driving license and access to their own vehicle as there will be travel across the Peterhead involved. We give a generous mileage rate at 45p per mile and you are also paid the hourly rate for travel time up to 2 hours between shifts.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will fall between the hours of 0700-2300 hours and will include split shifts and weekend working on a rotational basis.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
