Looking for a rewarding new job, then look no further! Our fabulous #TeamKinross are now on the lookout for a caring, compassionate and patient *female Team Member with a good sense of humour to join them on a part-time (16 hours) basis.

The Role

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. You'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports an amazing young lady who has a mild learning disability and PTSD. Not only will you provide support with all aspects of daily living, you'll also support her to socialise, maintain relationships and continue to live independently.

You'll play a HUGE part in helping her to realise her potential, reach her goals, learn new skills and play an active role in her local community. Her hobbies and interests include animals (especially horses), going for walks, knitting, gardening, music, shopping and watching TV & films.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence in the use of technology

It would also be great if you have a full driving license, however, this isn’t a dealbreaker for the right candidate.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.

Sleepovers do not form part of your contracted hours; for every sleepover you work, you will receive an additional payment of £76.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview by video on 27th August 2021.

Have any questions? If you'd like to find out more, please contact Claire Brown on 07880386813.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.

Cornerstone welcomes applications from all sections of the community and actively seeks to increase the diversity of our workforce.
