Are you looking for a rewarding new job where you can make a difference every day? Look no further! Our fantastic #TeamOutreach in Aberdeen are looking for new colleagues to join them on a part-time (20 hours) basis. We are also looking for relief colleagues too, if it's more flexibility you're looking for, our relief contracts are right up your street!

The Role

As one of our Team Members, we'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction. No two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in YOUR local community.

We pay our Team Members £10.10 per hour and we give a generous mileage rate at 45p per mile if you're using your own vehicle. All colleagues are also paid the hourly rate for travel time up to 2 hours between shifts. If you're joining us on a relief contract, your hourly rate will be £9.50, however you will be awarded the same mileage rate.

Your support will enable the individuals we support to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home, you’ll also help them to play an active part of their community too.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too! For these opportunities, we are ideally looking for drivers, however, this is not a deal breaker for the right candidates.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will fall between the hours of 0700-2300 hours and will include split shifts, public holidays and weekend working on a rotational basis.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible and withhold the right to withdraw these vacancies if we receive a high volume of applications before our closing date. Please apply early to avoid any disappointment.

Have any questions? If you'd like to find out more, please contact Josephine Crossan on 01224 256040 or Lesley Ford on 01224 256039.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.

This is a new post in our pioneering model and is still subject to consultation.

Cornerstone welcomes applications from all sections of the community and actively seeks to increase the diversity of our workforce.
