The Corstorphine Dementia Project is an established charity who is dedicated to providing quality day services to individuals located in the Corstorphine area with a diagnosis of dementia. This is achieved through our day centre and a teatime social club.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and friendly individual to join our wonderful team of Support Workers. You will be located in our day centre and work with a team of staff and volunteers supporting individuals who have a diagnosis of dementia. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of working in a support environment but this is not essential. With the ability to understand the needs of older people with dementia you will effectively contribute towards the provision of a relaxed, fun and caring environment within a framework that promotes independence and individual choice. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with those around you is essential.

Please send a CV and a statement (approx. 200 words) explaining why this position is of interest to you and what personal qualities you could bring to the job.

Deadline 27th January 2022.
