Senior Homecare Support Worker

Location: Applicant should live in Falkirk or Stirling area.

Based: Working from home (we provide care in Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth)

Salary: £28,470 rising to £29,200 after 6 months (subject to objectives being met)

 Personal Care

 Medication Prompting

 Meal Provision

 Light Domestic Duties

 Social Support – Escorting to social occasions or appointments

You will be joining a team where our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and companionship possible within the community and maintain the standards achieved at our Care Inspection in December 2022 which achieved an overall score of 6.

The role of a Senior Homecare Support Worker requires you to be able to carry out:

 Scheduling – You must be experienced at organising customer schedules and ensuring staff 

are working to capacity at all times.

 Staff Development – To assist with staff training, well-being reviews and direct observations.

 Customer Care – To carry out introductory visits to new customers, customer well-being calls and provide care and support in accordance with the individual’s support plan. 

This role requires you to have:

 Previous Home Care experience

 A SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care 

 Be registered with the SSSC or be willing to get registered within 6 months of joining Creative Homecare.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 A willingness to make a positive difference to someone’s life.

 To work as part of a team to deliver person centred homecare

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 0730 – 1530. (You will be part of an on call rotation and will be required to cover Homecare Support Workers absences so must be flexible to work occasional weekends and evenings.)

We pay employees 40p Mileage allowance and paid travel time.
