Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. Wendy loves being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, attending the local discos and funfair and having fun with her team. In her downtime, Wendy loves a good game of frustration and watching Mr Bean on the television. Wendy receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 3pm and 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 10pm at the weekends. Sadly, it’s not always possible for Wendy to enjoy what many people would consider these ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.
