Laundry Resource Worker

Location: Broadmeadows, Symington, KA1 5PU.

Salary: £22,182 per annum (Pro Rata).

Contract: Part time, 20 hours per week.

Hansel 3e, is an Employability, Education and Enterprise Service in Ayrshire that supports people with disabilities to gain the skills, training and experience necessary to move forward into employment. We support people with a wide range of disabilities to overcome barriers to employment, increasing confidence and promote independence to gain work experience to progress into positive destinations such as volunteering or employment opportunities.

We currently are looking for a Laundry Resource Worker within out 3e Laundry team on a temporary basis. The individual will contribute to maintaining a high quality, efficient laundry service, assisting supported employees and other resource workers to meet customer’s expectations

The successful applicant will have:

· Experience of mentoring co-workers within a workplace

· Experience of working both within a team and under their own initiative

· Ability to undertake manual work including lifting, carrying and standing for long periods

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Knowledge of commercial Health and Safety Legislation and Practises

· Resilience, flexibility to adapt to change and work under pressure

· Commitment to provide excellent customer service
