Responsibilities and duties of the job;

  • Ensure Service Users / Clients are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To support Service Users / Clients with all aspects of their day to day living, enabling them to enjoy the best possible quality of life
  • Most of the employee's work will be alone with the Service User / Clients in their home
  • Compassion, good communication skills, and a calm and caring manner is essential for this important role
  • Ensure Personal Plans and other information about how to support Service Users / Clients are followed
  • Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator of any changes in the needs of Service User / Clients

Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported

Salary: £10.75-£13.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

All support workers must wear the appropriate PPE during visits. You will be required to do an LFT test twice every week. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms will be required to self-isolate. These will be provided by Heart Link Health Care.

Be registered with the SSSC and work within the Code of Practice
