Heartland Cares Ltd

Heartland Cares is a new community-owned organisation, which has been established to deliver vital home care and other social care services, initially across the communities of Rannoch and Tummel, and Dunkeld and Birnam.

We are a small organisation with big ambitions. Our key aims and focus are to:

• Tangibly improving access to care at home for people living in remote, rural areas.
• Maximising the impact of a new care delivery model which places the client at the heart of their community and engages with and builds on the strengths of volunteer and community-led services.
• Expand service delivery to neighbouring communities
• Grow the care at home service leading to financial sustainability within three years of start-up.

SKS Scotland CIC have been working with Heartland Cares Ltd to help them set up their community-led care organisation.
