Highland Home Carers are looking for a Practice Support Technician to work as part of our Complex Needs Team in Inverness.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven work experience in a social care role
Ideally hold a SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Health Care
Experience in carrying out person-centered assessments and compiling outcome-focused care/support plans.

Job Purpose

To assist in the operational management in the Complex Needs service under the direction of the Service Manager.

Main Duties

Support the Assistant Manager and Service Manager to ensure the service operates within the standards prescribed by national and local policy and practice.
Devise and maintain supported persons files, care/support plans and computerised records to make sure they are up to date at all times.
Liaise with NHS and other professionals and outside agencies about referrals for people who need care/support.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with supported people, colleagues and care/support workers within your area of practice.
