Highland Home Carers are looking for a Practice Support Technician to work as part of our Complex Needs Team in Inverness.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven work experience in a social care role
- Ideally hold a SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Health Care
- Experience in carrying out person-centered assessments and compiling outcome-focused care/support plans.
Job Purpose
To assist in the operational management in the Complex Needs service under the direction of the Service Manager.
Main Duties
- Support the Assistant Manager and Service Manager to ensure the service operates within the standards prescribed by national and local policy and practice.
- Devise and maintain supported persons files, care/support plans and computerised records to make sure they are up to date at all times.
- Liaise with NHS and other professionals and outside agencies about referrals for people who need care/support.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with supported people, colleagues and care/support workers within your area of practice.
