The Service
St Johns Hill is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week supported accommodation service based in Edinburgh’s City Centre where parking is available. We support individuals who are homeless with Complex support needs.
The Role
You will support a wide variety of complex support needs including but not restricted to, mental health, substance misuse and learning disabilities. Most individuals are working towards moving into their own tenancy and require support with daily living skills.
You Will
- Have a flexible positive attitude and work with a trauma informed approach.
- Be confident and assertive as this post involves lone working.
- Possess an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or the willingness to undertake study to achieve this.
- Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post.
