Lynton Day Centre

Lynton Day Centre (LDC) delivers Day Care and Outreach care and support to older adults from East Linton and the surrounding area. The Centre has approximately 35 Day Care clients and a daily limit of 16. It is open Monday to Friday 9.00 - 4.00 pm. 

LDC is a registered Charity and is run by a Management Committee of Trustees. The service is staffed by a Manager, a Senior Carer, 3 part-time Care Assistants, a cook, a cleaner and a bank of approximately 20 volunteers. 

The Centre has its own kitchen and fresh meals are cooked daily. It also has a minibus which transports clients to and from the Centre, takes them on outings and delivers meals to Outreach clients.

 The service works to the Scottish Government’s Health and Social Care Standards and is regulated by the Care Inspectorate.
