Support Worker - Driver required

About the role

  • Shifts are 7am - 2pm / 3pm-10pm
  • Full time / Part time / Evening and Weekends / Permanent contracts
  • Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
  • Salary: £12.00 per hour
  • Mileage rate at 40p per mile
  • No experience necessary as full paid training will be provided.

The role will include visiting several homes within a shift providing the people we support with daily living tasks which are inclusive of assisting with all aspects of personal care, meal preparation, meal being served, medication prompt, catheter care.

About you:

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviors to match our own! You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.

Above all we want someone that:

  • Will be organised, reliable and responsible.
  • Have good communication skills; both verbal and written English; able to easily build relationships with others.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle as you will be travelling to the homes of people we support in the Falkirk District to provide care and support.
  • Successful candidates will be required to work across a weekly rota, including alternate weekends with scope for flexibility and opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
  • You will be caring, friendly, patient and passionate about helping others
