An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Health Care Support Worker with QME Care based in Queens & Murray House, a specialist purpose built dementia care unit and residential setting in the Kelso, Scottish Borders. As we continue to develop our unique caring model we are looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join our growing team.

NIGHT SHIFT POSITION AVAILABLE - 32 hours per week available

A genuine passion for working with older people, dementia, cognitive condition and high quality care are essential for this compassionate role.

Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and supporting a team of Health Care Support Workers you will attend to the daily care needs (including their personal care needs) to our older residents who experience conditions such as dementia, physical health conditions including end of life caring.

We follow a person centred approach to support our residents to be the director of their care.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, hard working and a team player.

Higher rate salary reflected the enhanced entitlement for weekend working.

All our roles work a rolling flexible rota system over a 7 day a week period.

. The candidate must have achieved Level 3 SVQ in Health & Social Care.

. 6 weeks holiday, increasing to 7 weeks after 5 years service
