We are offering a wonderful opportunity for a driven and focused individual to join the very successful and high performing Funding and Marketing Department as a Senior Grants Officer. Quarriers provides practical care and support for vulnerable children, adults and families who face extremely challenging circumstances across Scotland. The Senior Grants Officer role will work within the Grants Team to help transform the lives of the people supported by Quarriers by writing compelling, concise and convincing proposals to, and managing relationships with, a range of funders, including governmental bodies, lottery distributors, corporate and charitable trusts and foundations, in order to maximise income for existing and new Quarriers services.

You will also work collaboratively with the wider Funding and Marketing Department to provide mutual support as necessary and to optimise opportunities for developing Quarriers’ business through synergies between grants and tenders.

This great opportunity is suited to someone who is ambitious, enjoys a fast paced environment, and has excellent organisational skills, with a background in grants, particularly statutory and other large grant funding opportunities. It would be advantageous for you to have knowledge of the third sector or commercial organisations as well as experience in developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Grants who along with three Grants Officers will work towards delivering an annual income of £1.3million+, as well as building a robust pipeline of opportunities for the next three years.

This is a critical role, engaging and communicating effectively with a wide range of internal staff and external organisations.
