Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our team, providing essential assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a comfortable environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance, including elderly individuals, people with dementia or Alzheimer's in their own homes. The roles are ideal for caring professionals committed to delivering high-quality support. Previous experience is useful, but not necessary. Minimum 7.5hrs per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
• Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document accordingly
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Manage behaviour effectively and compassionately, especially in cases of dementia or Alzheimer's care
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness
• Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when required
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organised environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
